Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 29) — If you're dying for a bucket of Chickenjoy or you just want to sink your teeth into a tasty Peach Mango Pie, you can now use your cellphone to have these delivered at your doorstep.

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), the largest fastfood chain in the Philippines, recently signed a deal with Globe Business, the enterprise and information and communications technology (ICT) arm of Globe Telecom, to centralize its express delivery service to one number: #8-7000.

Globe Business said in a statement that over 59 million Globe customers will now be able to call #8-7000 through their mobile device. It added Jollibee's delivery number ensures easier access and greater reach for areas that have a growing demand for delivery services.

"Globe Business is an excellent partner for us since they have a high level of expertise in ICT,"  said Jollibee Vice President for National Business Channels Manjie Yap in the statement.

"Add to this a solid business background and reputation, and being an industry leader makes it a no-brainer partnership for Jollibee," Yap said. "Nowadays more and more technological innovations are coming out, and of course we are looking forward to maximize this so our customers can benefit more. The 'Hashtag' project is just a start of the many innovations we foresee to improve our service."

Meanwhile, Globe Business Senior Vice President Peter Maquera said the company is "honored and privileged" to be partnering with Jollibee.

"We aim to continuously improve and look for new solutions that help address business pain points and drive further collaboration with our customers," Maquera said.

Aside from Jollibee, Globe Business said it also partnered with other fast-food chains under the JFC group of companies.

The company said it will soon bring Burger King's #22222, Greenwich's #55555, MangInasal's #71111 and Chowking's #98888.

"As Jollibee's trusted business partner, Globe Business redefines how businesses work- which go beyond functions, numbers, and performance," Globe Business said. "We help turn businesses passion and purpose into reality through the right technology, infrastructure, and know-how to transform people's lives."
