San Miguel Corp. offers up to ₱30-B in fixed-rate bonds

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 6) — Diversified conglomerate San Miguel Corporation is offering fixed-rate bonds of up to ₱30 billion to the public.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Monday, the company said ₱20 billion worth of bonds would be offered, with the option to raise that amount by another ₱10 billion.

Three kinds of bonds are being offered: a five-year bond with a fixed-rate interest if 6.25 percent/year; a 7-year bond with a fixed-interest rate of 6.625 percent/year; and a 10-year bond with a fixed interest rate of 7.125 percent/year.

According to the disclosure, the offer period began March 5, and will end on March 9.

The bonds will be listed in the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. on the issue date, March 19.
