Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 18) — The audience of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime," were treated to a wonderful, romantic surprise.

During their group's "Magpasikat Week" performance, singer and host Teddy Corpuz went to the audience area where his wife and children were seated, sang a Filipino love song, bent on one knee, and asked his wife Jasmine to marry him -- for the second time.

"Sa harap mo at sa harap ng buong mundo, gusto kitang tanungin, 'Will you marry me again?'" Corpuz asked his wife.

Jasmine was then dressed in a wedding gown and the couple had an impromptu ceremony onstage.

The heartfelt performance brought the audience to tears, including the judges, composed of director Rory Quintos, singer Janno Gibbs, actress Ina Raymundo, broadcaster Marc Logan, and actress Maricel Soriano.

The Rocksteddy frontman has been married to his wife for 11 years. They have two children, Angelica Phoebe and Theodore John.

For this year's "Magpasikat Week," an annual event where the hosts perform in groups, Corpuz teamed up with Itchyworms frontman Jugs Jugueta and comedienne Vice Ganda.

Last year, the daring performance by hosts Anne Curtis and Amy Perez, along with comedian Joey Marquez, won the P300,000 grand prize, which was donated to their chosen charity.
