Filipino singer KZ Tandingan and British pop star Jessie J.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 10) — Filipino singer KZ Tandingan bested British popstar Jessie J in this week's episode of Chinese reality contest "Singer 2018."

Tandingan performed a jazzy rendition of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," and rapped in Filipino.

Jessie J, who is behind pop hits such as "Price Tag" and "Flashlight," sang "Ain't Nobody." Her performance landed her second place.

The rankings on "Singer 2018" are based on votes from the studio audience.

The Chinese reality show, which started in January, pits famous singers from countries around the world.

Some of the contestants include Taiwanese pop singer Sam Lee and Hong Kong's half-Singaporean Tien Chong.
