Online personality, alleged scammer Xian Gaza asked Myrtle Sarrosa out on a date.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 25) — Fresh out of jail, online personality Xian Gaza is at it again with lavish attempts to ask celebrities out, this time with Pinoy Big Brother winner Myrtle Sarrosa.

Gaza made his move on Facebook with an "Avengers: Infinity War"-themed poster featuring Sarrosa's face edited onto movie villain Thanos and his own face placed on every Avenger.

His invitation to Myrtle read: "I don't know how to say this but you know what, I crush you. Myrtle Sarrosa, will you watch Avengers Infinity War with me? #MovieDateWithMyrtle #PleaseSayYesMyrtle P.S. Sorry hindi ko na afford ipabillboard pa 'to, nyeamumulubi na kasi me (Sorry I can't afford to put this on a billboard anymore because I'm broke)."

He has since been posting videos on his Facebook profile following up Sarrosa's answer.

A joker turned scammer

Gaza gained internet fame after proposing a coffee date with actress Erich Gonzales through a giant billboard display in Morayta, Manila on July 1 last year.

Netizens later uncovered several travel vlogs from Gaza, including his viral video in Cambodia, that gave him his signature "Nyeaam" bit, and made him the subject of netizens' ridicule. Gaza joined the noise from his video and began saying "Nyeaam" repeatedly in his vlogs.

His publicity as a comic relief, however, was short-lived when a number of mad investors came forward with accusations against Gaza for supposedly initiating anomalous deals.

The businessman was issued an arrest warrant on April 10 for allegedly duping two individuals into investing in a coffee shop and for failing to attend court hearings. A now-deleted Facebook post from Gaza's profile detailed the charges against him.

Gaza surrendered to Malabon authorities on April 12 and was released on bail the next day.
