Former love team Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino or #CarGel #AnggeCaloy together again.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 27) — A teaser trailer of an upcoming movie revealed actress Angelica Panganiban will star with co-actor and ex-love interest Carlo Aquino in a new project about past relationships.

CinemaBravo shared the teaser video of "Exes Baggage", directed by Dan Villegas, Tuesday showing a brief scene introducing Panganiban and Aquino as the main stars.

Before the movie's theme was announced, the former couple had their own share of teasers for their fans on social media.

Aquino posted photos of the teaser's filming Saturday expressing his gratitude for the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Panganiban posted a photo with Aquino a week ago, to jokingly commemorate what could have been one of their anniversaries as a couple.

"Anniversary pala natin dapat kahapon. Celebrate na lang natin sa tinginan?," the actress said in jest.

[Translation: It was supposed to be our anniversary yesterday. Let's just celebrate by looking at each other?]

Panganiban and Aquino were a known love team in the early 2000's when they both starred in the hit television shows "G-mik" and "Berks."

The tandem later revealed they were in a relationship but called it quits after six years.

The former couple haven't worked on new projects as a love team since their split so netizens couldn't help but share both excitement and nostalgia following the movie's announcement.

Villegas first confirmed the reunion after sharing a photo of the former couple during the preparation stages of the movie.

"Looktest. #comingsoon #buhaypelikula #taraletsdothis #AnggeCaloy," his caption read.
