Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 15) — Actor, model, singer, and now, Army reservist — the multi-hyphenate Filipino-Italian celebrity Matteo Guidicelli has added a new appendage to his name.

Guidicelli, along with fellow actor Ivan Carapiet, and Luis Ruiz took their oath Monday as reservists of the Armed Forces of the Philippines at the Army Reserve Command (Arescom) headquarters in Tanza, Cavite.

In a statement, the Arescom said the three will be trained to prepare them in the event of natural disasters and national emergencies.

Guidicelli and Carapiet's family were in attendance at their oath taking, the Arescom said.

Before taking oath as Army reservist, Guidicelli also took his oath as a member of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, along with personalities Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico.
