Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 24) — Heads up, K-Drama fans!

“Love in the Moonlight” star Park Bo Gum has postponed his fan event originally scheduled Saturday in the wake of the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that rocked Metro Manila and parts of Luzon this week.

This was confirmed Wednesday by his management agency Blossom Entertainment.

"We offer our deepest condolences to those who suffered damage and to the families involved in this earthquake," the agency said in a statement.

"We would like to express our apology to the many fans who have been waiting for this fan meeting. But most of all, we made this decision because we think the safety of our fans is the most important," it said.

The fan meet, dubbed as "2019 Asia Tour: May Your Every Day Be A Good Day," was scheduled at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Park, through his Twitter account, also personally apologized for the event's postponement.

"My heartfelt condolences and consolation to the victims of the earthquake and their families. I'll pray for the Philippines, and may God's protection and care always be with all people in the Philippines," the actor wrote on his page.

According to the talent management agency's Facebook account, the fan meet has been rescheduled to June 22.

The Korean star is also known for his roles in hit Korean dramas “Reply 1988” and “Wonderful Mama.”

Apart from collecting numerous acting awards, Park has also clinched the top spot in Forbes Magazine’s Korea Power Celebrity List back in 2017.
