In the hands of Maute rebels: Fr. Soganub on Marawi ordeal

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 23) — On September 11, a Catholic priest held captive by Maute rebels was rescued from the Marawi warzone.

The terrorists abducted Fr. Chito Soganub along with other parish workers from St. Mary's Parish on May 23, when the Marawi attack happened.

After six months since he was freed, Soganub for the first time speaks up on his experience and the challenges that came after.
