Senate probes NAIA mess

Transportation Secretary Art Tugade says the recent mess at the country's primary airport was an eye opener for all transport stakeholders. He says there's a need to assess readiness to deal with emergency situations.
Senators are trying to identify solutions to avoid a similar problem— which cost the airport at least P18 million, inconvenienced thousands of passengers, and led to 60 uncoordinated flights.
