"Rebirth” by Sherwin Tan

The solo exhibition “Rebirth” by Sherwin Tan opens on Thursday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m. at the Altromondo Gallery, Greenbelt 5. The exhibit will feature the artist’s expressionist compositions and will run until Oct. 1, 2017. Greenbelt 5 is located at 1228 Legazpi Street, Makati. 1335Mabini presents new exhibits by Ernest Concepcion and Mu-Chi Hsieh on Friday, Sept. 15 at 1335Mabini, 1335 A. Mabini St., 2/F, Casa Tesoro Building, Ermita, Manila. The exhibit is part of the project “CUMULUS BLIMP: A Translational Platform of Discourse,” a collaborative series of exhibitions that seek to “induce diverse perspectives on the agenda of cultural engagement.” This series include artists from the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Austria, America, and Israel. "Games and Politics" exhibition

“Games and Politics,” an interactive exhibition presented in Manila by Goethe-Institut Philippinen and the Ateneo Art Gallery, opens on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the Areté, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City. In cooperation with the German cultural institution ZKM Center for Art and Media, the exhibition, which has been touring worldwide, explores the global phenomena of video game culture through 18 featured video games that have been deemed to be “politically ambitious.” For more information, visit their Facebook event page.

“You Thought It Was A Figure But It's Not”

Galerio Roberto presents “You Thought It Was A Figure But It’s Not,” an exhibition curated by Fitz Herrera, and featuring his works together with Rick Hernandez, Art Bermido, Gary Custodio, Marlon Magbanua, Jayson Muring, Resty Tica, Jay Ragma, and Valen Valero. The exhibit opened on Sept. 1 and will run until Sept. 21.
