Manila (CNN Philippines Life) — This Aug. 23, fan favorite electronic pop acts Tom Misch and Vancouver Sleep Clinic will play back-to-back on the Karpos Live stage.

This follows the first edition, which premiered with local indie acts Reese Lansangan and Tom’s Story. Its second part featured a show-stopping double bill with Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals and Honne.

Mix 2.1 of the live music series will be held at the Vertis Tent in Quezon City, with support from opening act Nathan & Mercury.

Singer, songwriter, and beatmaker Tom Misch melds a variety of genres in his jams — creating a seamless soundscape with hints of soul, jazz, hip-hop, and more.

The London native gained a cult following with a feature on YouTube music channel Majestic Casual — a moment which he described to NME as “the point where I was like, ‘Shit! This is real!’” After several EPs, mixtapes and collaborations, Misch finally released his debut album “Geography” last April.

Co-headliner Vancouver Sleep Clinic is the dream pop project of Australian singer-songwriter Tim Bettinson. His distinctive falsetto croon comes with his own chill, electro-tinged gems that echo the likes of Bon Iver and Sigur Ròs.

The 21-year-old had his start in the music industry at a young age, having written his debut album “Revival” at the age of 18. He left his label recently, so he says he’s “so pumped to be independent again,” being able to share his music freely with the world.

Karpos Live comes from the eponymous production outfit behind Wanderland, the music and arts festival based in Manila. The concert series have featured both homegrown and international acts in a smaller setup.

Mix 2.2 will be held on Oct. 6 at the same venue and will star singer-songwriter Clara Benin and nine-piece folk rock band Ben & Ben.
