New and fun experiences await mall-goers as SM launches ‘Home of Global Brands’ campaign

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) – SM Supermalls announced on May 6 that they will partner with many of the world’s well-known brands as the retail giant brings ultimate family fun experiences to over 30 malls nationwide from May to December 2017.

Each partner brand will hold activities in various SM malls, allowing customers to experience new product launches, activations, promotions and fun events. 

“With an average foot traffic of 3.5 million daily and year-long calendar of non-stop family fun events, we are thrilled and excited that some of the world’s best consumer brands collaborate with SM Supermalls – choosing our malls as a strong alternative medium to better reach customers – And together, continue to innovate and make the mall-going experience fun and extraordinary for all,” said SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for Marketing Jonjon San Agustin.

The first brand in this partnership is South Korean electronics and appliance brand, LG, which gave mall goers the chance to experience everything from smartphones to washing machines in special booths at the SM Mall of Asia.

At the LG TV booth, visitors were given “passports” that would be stamped when they win in games. A stamped-up passport qualified them to join the raffle at the event.

Meanwhile, visitors also got to try out LG’s latest refrigerators in the “Guess What’s Inside” game, while the “Load Me Up” game gave mall goers a chance to try out the load capacity of LG’s washing machines.

In addition, guests were able to meet and greet up-and-coming celebrity Lauren Reid, the brand ambassador for the top-of-the-line LG G6 smartphone.
