Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau receives a Jollibee plush toy.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 12) — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau melted Filipinos' hearts as he visited mothers and babies at a health center and dropped by for a bite at a local fastfood chain in Manila.

He became talk of the town shortly after arriving Clark Airport in Pampanga before 2 p.m. on Sunday for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Summits.

Trudeau delighted mothers and played with babies at the Likhaan Center for Women's Health in Tondo, Manila.

The 45-year-old Prime Minister posted photos of his visit to the Canadian-funded non-government organization.

"Every child deserves the best start in life, that's why Canada is helping mothers around the world get access to quality services like those offered at the Likhaan Center for Women's Health," Trudeau said.

Hours after, local fastfood chain Jollibee posted photos of Trudeau inside their branch in North Harbor, Manila.

Photos showed Trudeau ordering a strawberry tea float, posing for selfies with store crew members, and meeting and dining with Jollibee customers.

The Jollibee Facebook post has drawn over 60,000 shares as of Monday.

Trudeau and Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto made hearts flutter and were tagged as #APEChottie during the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in the Philippines in 2015.

Trudeau is in Manila with other world leaders from November 12 to 15 for the ASEAN Summit and related meetings with non-member states such as Canada, China, Russia, and the United States.
