Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 17) — President Rodrigo Duterte attended the senior high school graduation ceremonies of his granddaughter Isabelle on Thursday in Pasay City.

Isabelle, who finished senior high school at San Beda College – Alabang, posted on Instagram a video of her with the President, her brother Omar, and her mother Lovelie Sumera.

The high school paper Bedan Roar, meanwhile, posted on Facebook an image of the President with Special Assistant to the President Bong Go at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Isabelle recently was at the center of a controversy over her pre-debut pictorial in Malacañang. The President, however, missed her debut in Makati City because he spent the day in Davao City.

She is the daughter of former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte. Last year, the two exchanged heated words on social media.
