Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 7) — Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa will work with the World Health Organization (WHO) for a special project, as she continues to push her mental health advocacy.

In an Instagram post, the Filipina beauty queen shared a picture of herself standing outside the WHO office in Manila with the caption, "Working on a special project today, together with the World Health Organization on mental health."

She did not release more details on the new project. Verzosa was an ambassador for the organization's mental health campaign, "Depression: Let's talk" in 2017.

Verzosa had earlier revealed that she struggled with depression, but had overcome the medical illness.

She is also working with the Department of Health to help search for its new HIV/AIDS ambassador.

Her Instagram post captioned, "Lending my voice to the Department of Health today as they search for their next HIV/AIDS ambassador. Glad to be able to extend a hand to a cause I believe would benefit the Filipino people and the state of their mental health."

CNN Philippines intern Margaux Morio contributed to this report.
