Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 18) —  Newly-crowned Miss Universe Catriona Gray added another item to her growing list of accomplishments.

The 24-year-old beauty queen was featured in international magazine Vogue's online platform on Tuesday. The top fashion magazine, in particular, lauded Gray's signature stomp: the viral "lava walk."

"The night's big winner, Catriona Gray, a 24-year-old model who represented the Philippines, took to the stage and delivered a runway stomp worthy of fashion month," the article said.

"Onstage at Bangkok's Impact Arena in Thailand, she wore a fiery custom gown by Filipino designer Mak Tumang, featuring a portrait of the Mayon Volcano rendered in sequins. It was the perfect complement to her lava walk, and she gave hosts Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham something to talk about, earning her second supermodel shoutout," it added.

Renowned supermodel Tyra Banks took to social media to express her approval of Gray's runway walk.

"You did it! And that walk and confidence? I mean… Next level fierce," Banks said on Twitter Monday.

Banks, who is best known as a mentor and producer of reality television series "America's Next Top Model," also earlier praised Gray's viral slow-motion turn during the preliminary swimsuit competition.

Gray, for her part, was left astounded by the fashion magazine's citation. In her Instagram stories, the Filipino-Australian posted a screenshot of the online article and captioned it with "Vogue?" coupled with a crying emoticon.

The Vogue article added it may "only be a matter of time" before Gray's "lava walk" hits the international runway scene.

"Only time will tell if her signature stomp will find its way to Milan or Paris, but given that 2016's Miss Universe winner Iris Mittenaere wound up walking couture for Jean Paul Gaultier, it may only be a matter of time before the lava walk hits the runway," the story read.
