Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Several areas in the country have declared suspension of classes in anticipation of the onslaught of Typhoon Lawin (international name: Haima), which continued to gain strength as it moves towards northern Luzon.
As of posting time, classes have been canceled in the following places:
- Cagayan province
- Ilocos Norte
- Isabela (October 19, 20)
- Abra (including work in all government offices and private establishments)
- Bauang, La Union
Pre-school to high school
Pre-school to elementary
Pre-school to kindergarten
