Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 8) — The low pressure area spotted 100 kilometers west of Baguio City at 10 a.m., Sunday, may bring occasional rains over some parts Luzon, the state weather bureau said.

Northern and Central Luzon, as well as the Calabarzon may experience occasional rains, according to the 11 a.m. advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The state weather bureau warned of possible flash floods and landslides over Quezon, Isabela, and Cagayan, where rains are more frequent.

PAGASA will issue its next update at 4 p.m. today.
