Updated with interview with SOJ Aguirre

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 26) — University of Santo Tomas (UST) Law Dean Nilo Divina and 64 other persons-of-interest linked to the death of Horacio "Atio" Castillo III are now under the Justice Department's immigration lookout bulletin order.

The lookout order was released on Thursday, a day after the revelation of a suspect-turned-state witness.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II told CNN Philippines the name of Divina was added to the list upon the request of the parents of Atio, while the Philippine National Police also asked for some names to be added.

In a statement, Divina said the inclusion is "an unfortunate but not entirely unexpected development." He added he will comply with the DOKJJ order, but he insisted he has no liability and is not a party to any cover-up.

While the lookout bulletin does not bar those on the list from leaving the country, it requires them to get clearance from the Justice Department before going abroad.

All 65 on the list are members and officers of the Aegis Juris Fraternity, the group that conducted Atio's hazing.

Some of the frat members on the lookout order participated in a chat  after Atio died on September 17.  Police said the Facebook thread showed Aegis members were trying to "cover up and conceal" the crime.

The initial lookout bulletin released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on September 22 had only 20 names.

On Wednesday, hazing suspect Marc Ventura became a state witness in the case as he revealed details of what happened the day the UST freshman law student was killed. He said Atio endured four hours of initiation rites.

Ventura named some 10 fraternity members who punched the 22-year-old, then hit him with meter-long paddles multiple times before Atio collapsed. To wake the neophyte, they dripped burning candle wax on him. Justice Secretary did not give the names of those present during the hazing rites.
