This was confirmed by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a message.

“The Prime Minister of Laos, we have been informed, has a state visit in Vientiane. This is the reason why he has to leave the Philippines early,” Roque said.

Sisoulith arrived at around 10.36 p.m. Sunday via Clark International Airport for the ASEAN meetings from November 11 to 14. He was welcomed by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.
