Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 5) — The transport regulator has green-lighted a ₱2-per-minute travel charge for transport network vehicle services (TNVS).

This is in line with Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Memorandum Circular No. 2018-19, which states the charge will be part of the TNVS fare structure.

The memorandum said the charge shall apply to all types of TNVS, and the receipt for passengers should show this charge along with the fare breakdown.

This development comes after the regulator said transport network company Grab no longer has to reimburse passengers the per-minute charge which it earlier said was unauthorized.
