Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 12) — President Rodrigo Duterte expressed happiness over the success of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) envisioned to end decades-long conflict in Mindanao.
Duterte touted it as one of the most significant developments in the country in the past three years during the distribution of certificates of land ownership for farmers in Maguindanao Monday.
"I'm glad that it has succeeded and I am inviting everyone here, Maguindanao primarily, join us in government," the President said.
He enjoined Filipinos in Mindanao to be part of the government.
"Okay man lang 'yang armas mo. Ilibing mo na 'yan, 'di mo kailangan. Isang putok lang 'yan gulo. Pero kung tahimik tayo, mag-usap tayo at maibigay naman 'yung gusto ninyo na tulong na dapat talaga sa inyo," he said.

The President also lauded Moro Islamic Liberation Front Chairman Al Hajj Murad Ebrahim, a key figure in the BOL.
"Mabuhay ang BOL. Mabuhay ang Maguindanao. Mabuhay si Murad," Duterte said.
He also said he will try to reach out to Nur Misuari, founder of the Moro National Liberation Front, to ensure peace in Mindanao.
