Albay (CNN Philippines, January 10) — A privately-owned aircraft hired by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) made an emergency landing in Albay Wednesday.

The Gulfstream G200 jet piloted by Capt. Jun Flores Pangilinan was on its way to Legazpi City from Pasay City when strong winds caused Pangilinan to lose control, prompting the emergency landing at the unfinished Bicol International Airport in Alobo, Daraga.

The plane's passengers, as well as the pilot, were all safe. All cargo, the BSP said, was "safe and intact."

Marilyn Paje of Bangko Sentral Legazpi said that the BSP rented the plane from Asian Aerospace Corp. to bring documents to Legazpi.

Details of the emergency landing were not released due to confidentiality, said Police Supt. Elcid Roldan of Daraga police station.

In a statement released Wednesday evening, the BSP said it "shall defer to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and other oversight agencies responsible for the proper disposition of such incidents."

The CAAP Aircraft Accident Investigation team has been sent to invest]igate and determine the cause of the incident
