Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Rain or Shine stayed perfect in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup after blowing by Kia Mahindra, 108-94, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on Sunday (October 25).

JR Quiñahan and Maverick Ahanmisi paced the E-painters with 14 markers, while Jeff Chan and Jericho Cruz each chipped in with 12 points each.

Kia Mahindra opened the game as the hungrier of the two teams, leading by as much as 10 points in the first period of play.

Unfortunately, Kia could not keep their momentum as Rain or Shine poured on the pressure. The E-painters went on a tear, finishing the third quarter with a comfortable 79-64 lead.

There was no way back for the Enforcers, who trailed by as much as 22 points in the final period of play, as Rain or Shine walked away with the comfortable 108-94 victory.

Karl Dehesa led the way for the Mahindra Enforcers with 20 markers.

The Elasto Painters will stake their perfect record against the San Miguel Beermen on Wednesday (November 4), while Kia look to barge in the win column against the Alaska Aces on Friday (November 6).
