Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be returning to the Philippines.

The UFC announced today they will be bringing back the octagon to the Mall of Asia Arena on October 15 for Fight Night Manila.

The fight card has yet to be revealed.

This will be the MMA organization's second time to stage the event in the Philippines after their debut in May last year, which featured a card headlined by a lightweight bout between Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber.

"We are very excited to be back in the Philippines,” UFC Executive Vice President and General Manager Asia Kenneth Berger said in a statement. “Manila is a fighting city and we hope to put on another unforgettable show that will capture the hearts of Filipino sports fans throughout the country.”

Tickets are set to go on sale in August, and can be purchased through www.smtickets.com.
