Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Mahindra Floodbuster stunned the Meralco Bolts, 105-92, on Wednesday.

Philip Paniamogan exploded on court at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum with a career-high 25 points for the Floodbuster who captured their second consecutive victory in the Philippine Cup.

Reynel Hugnatan and Chris Newsome showed life for Meralco as they tried to keep the match close with huge buckets.

But Mahindra was just clicking on all cylinders as it converted a franchise-record 21 three-point shots compared to the Bolts' seven.

Meralco absorbed its fifth straight loss and fell to 2-6 in the team standings.

Alex Mallari added 13 points and 11 assists for the Floodbuster.

Hugnatan tallied 28 points, while Newsome contributed 19 points for the Bolts.

Mahindra will next face TNT KaTropa on January 18 (Wednesday) at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
