Martin Nguyen stuns hometown hero Eduard Folayang to claim second ONE Championship title

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 11) — Martin Nguyen made history in ONE Championship after knocking out Filipino warrior Eduard Folayang in the main event of "Legends of the World" Friday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Australian boxer landed a quick powerful right hand punch which sent Folayang to the canvas at the 2:20 mark of the second round.

Nguyen becomes the first fighter in ONE Championship history to hold two titles — the featherweight and lightweight.

With the victory, Nguyen improved his record to 10-1, while Folayang suffered his sixth setback.

In the co-main event, Brazil's Adriano Moraes showed why he is the best in the flyweight division after beating another Filipino Danny Kingad by submission at the 4:45 mark of the first round.

Moraes climbed up to a 17-2 record, while Kingad succumbed to his first career loss in six fights.
