Durant reached the milestone by sinking a jump shot in the second quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday at the Oracle Arena.

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers did it faster -- James was 28 years and 17 days when he pulled it off, while Durant is 29 years and 103 days.
The 6-foot-9 Durant joins Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and James as the players to scored 20,000 career points before the age of 30.
Durant is also the 44th player in league history to achieve the feat.
