Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 14) — The Adamson Lady Falcons made quick work of the University of the Philippines (UP) Lady Maroons in straight sets, 25-9, 27-25, 25-20, Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

Mylene Paat led the way for the Lady Falcons with 15 points, while Jema Galanza contributed 14 points.

Adamson capitalized on the Lady Maroons' early service errors to keep their score to a single digit at the end of the first set.

After prevailing from a close second set contest, the Lady Falcons rode on the momentum to seal their second consecutive victory in three outings.

Tots Carlos tallied 12 markers for UP who suffered its second defeat in the tournament.

Adamson will next face the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses on February 18, while the Lady Maroons go up against the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws on February 17.
