Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 19) — Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes bared the 14-man lineup for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers versus Australia.

Reyes made the announcement on his Twitter account Sunday.

The national team is set to fly to Australia on February 19.

Composing the backcourt rotation are Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, and Jio Jalalon.

Roger Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Calvin Abueva, and Carl Bryan Cruz meanwhile, will serve as the wing players.

Japeth Aguilar, June Mar Fajardo, and naturalized player Andray Blatche will man the paint.

One surprising name in the pool is former De La Salle University big man Abu Tratter, who made it to the national team lineup for the first time. According to Reyes, Troy Rosario, who suffered a bad fall in a PBA game, has not been given medical clearance to play yet, while Mac Belo is still recovering from a leg injury.

The final roster will be cut to 12.

The Philippines and Australia will enter the matchup as undefeated squads in Group B, together with Japan and Chinese-Taipei.

Gilas and Australia will collide on February 22 in Melbourne.
