Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 6) — Jordan Bartlett will join the De La Salle University Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Bartlett made the announcement on his Twitter account Monday.

His move to La Salle comes two months after his departure from the National University Bulldogs.

In his lone season with the Bulldogs, Bartlett averaged 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.

With the exit of some notable figures from the Green Archer's lair in the past few months, the addition of the 20-year-old guard serves as a bright spot in their rebuilding process under new head coach Louie Gonzalez.

La Salle fell to archrivals Ateneo Blue Eagles in the Season 80 finals of the men's seniors basketball tournament.

The Filipino-American will undergo one year residency, which means he will be eligible to play for La Salle in Season 82.
