Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 14) — The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws have recovered from a stinging loss to the Ateneo Lady Eagles.

The Lady Tamaraws dismantled the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23, Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

Bernadeth Pons carried FEU with 15 points off 13 spikes.

It was a close contest all throughout the match with UST failing to deliver during the clutch.

Toni Rose Basas chipped in 10 points for the Lady Tamaraws who solidified the hold of the third spot with a 6-3 record.

Cherry Rondina powered the Golden Tigresses with 11 markers. They succumbed to their fifth straight loss in the tournament.

FEU will go up against the De La Salle University Lady Spikers on March 18, while UST faces the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons on March 17.
