After years of representing De La Salle University's green and white, Paraiso will be wearing gold and black after announcing that he will be playing for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers.

In a statement posted on his official Twitter account Sunday, the 6-foot-2 wingman decided it's time to move on to where he could pick himself up and stand proud.

Paraiso will be reunited with Growling Tigers head coach Aldin Ayo. They were part of De La University's men's seniors basketball title run in Season 79 and a runner-up finish the following year.

His addition will also bolster the España-based squad's roster which includes holdovers Marvin Lee and Jordan Sta. Ana, key returnees Embons Bonleon and Renzo Subido, and UAAP Juniors Most Valuable Player CJ Cansino.

But the UST community will have to wait as Paraiso will undergo a one-year residency and will be eligible to play in Season 82.
