Bocaue, Bulacan (CNN Philippines, June 11) — The Philippine men's national basketball team ended its FIBA 3x3 World Cup campaign on a high note.

The national squad dominated third-ranked Russia, 19-12, in front of hundreds of roaring fans Monday at the Philippine Arena.

Troy Rosario caught fire after knocking down three consecutive two-point shots to give the Filipinos a comfortable advantage en route to the victory.

The Philippines redeemed itself following a stinging one-point loss to Canada earlier in the day.

The national team tallied a 2-2 record which was not enough to secure a slot in the quarterfinals.
