The 19-year-old Cebu native could hardly put into words what she is felt upon learning that she will be a flag bearer in the regional sports meet.

"I feel honored as a skater to be given a voice. I can't explain the feeling."

The Philippines has a total of 17 medals with a few days remaining in the international tournament.

The other local gold medalists weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, golfers Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan, and Lois Kaye Go arrived in Manila last Tuesday.
