Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 15) — Another fight is brewing between Manny Pacquiao and boxing foe Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather posted a video on his Instagram account Saturday, showing him and Pacquiao in a club.

The retired boxer captioned the video: "I'm coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another 9 figure pay day on the way."

Mayweather defeated Pacquiao for the WBO world welterweight title in May 2015 in a match dubbed "The Fight of the Century."

Pacquiao has not issued a public response to Mayweather's statement.

Mayweather retired from professional boxing in August 2017.

In July, Pacquiao revealed to CNN Philippines he was open to a rematch.

"If he returns to being active as a boxer, then maybe we can fight. I'm open with it," he said.
