Young revolutionaries

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Young leaders are also making their own revolution in different fields.

On Tuesday evening (February 23), CNN Philippines chief correspondent Pia Hontiveros sat down with Raymond Abrea  and Raymond Rufino, who will both be speaking at the Asia Young Leaders Summit 2016 on Wednesday (February 24).

The summit is a venue where the stories of the nation's most prominent new generation of leaders will be presented.

Abrea, president of the Center of Strategic Reforms of the Philippines, added the summit is an avenue to show and appreciate what millenials can do.

He said, "It is not just about the Selfie Generation... We really think outside of the box and keep on challenging the status quo."

Rufino, chairman of the Philippine Green Building Council, said the conference will show a lot of "inspirational work that young leaders are doing all over the Philippines."

He added, "I think we are a generation that will propel the next chapter in Philippine history... In a lot of different fields, there are a lot of young Filipinos really trying to push and make a difference and i think that's very exciting."
