Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 23) - There will be no more long queues of people picking up their favorite dishes in buffets under the new normal.

Under the Memorandum Circular No. 20-37 of the Department of Trade and Industry, buffet services shall be only be allowed if there are food servers provided and all food trays are covered.

Self-service like refilling of condiments is prohibited as well based on the guidelines.

Dine-in services in restaurants and fast-food establishments have been allowed to resume in areas under general community quarantine, but only at 30-percent capacity.

Meanwhile, restaurants in areas under modified GCQ have been allowed to offer dine-in services at 50-percent capacity.

Further, restaurants are required to implement “No Face Mask, No Entry” policy in their establishments.

For face-to-face seating, plastic barriers will be placed diagonally on tables as part of social distancing protocols.
