Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 21) — A former radio DJ known as "Papa Tolits" was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Quezon City along with three of his supposed cohorts.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said Marieto Laurino, 40, sold shabu to an agent posing as a buyer Friday night. Laurino and three other individuals identified as Arbie Chua, Winnie Hunter, and Louwy Manabat were arrested at 28 Finance Street, Brgy. Bahay Toro in Project 8.

They all tested positive for illegal drug use, PDEA Metro Manila Regional Director Joel Plaza said. Authorities seized around 25 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P170,000. The alleged supplier of the group remains at large.

According to PDEA, Laurino and another suspect helped maintain the drug den, while the two other suspects were drug users.

Laurino and his co-accused are facing charges for selling illegal drugs, a crime punishable with life imprisonment.

Laurino previously went on air as "Papa Tolits" for Barangay LS 97.1.
