Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 8)— SB19 continues to garner accomplishments in the global stage.

The Filipino pop band’s hit song “MAPA” is among the top searched songs on Google globally for 2021, according to the tech company’s “Year in Search” list released on Wednesday.

In its annual list, the tech company analyzes which search terms saw the highest spike over the past year.

The top trending song on the search engine was “Driver’s License” by pop star Olivia Rodrigo, followed by “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X.

SB19 also made it to international headlines this week when it rose to the top spot in the latest Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart with its track “Bazinga.” The group was the first act to dethrone K-pop boy group BTS, who had been sitting at No. 1 for weeks.
