Manila (CNN Philippines Life) — Today marks the 69th edition of Manila FAME, the lifestyle and design showcase that brings together products that are proudly Filipino made. Happening until this Saturday, April 27, the event also features various activities, such as leather-making workshops, talks by preeminent creatives in the country, and live DJ performances, among many others.
Manila FAME has also dedicated a space called Artisans Village, which displays the masterpieces of local artisans and craftsmen from Albay, Cagayan Valley, and Negros Occidental. This aims to put the spotlight on arts and crafts techniques, like weaving and metal foraging, that are distinctly Filipino.
