Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 23) - The Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) arrested on Sunday an Indonesian national who was allegedly involved in the recent kidnapping of two Chinese nationals.

The suspect was identified as a certain Falendra aka Parker, a Philippine offshore gaming operator employee. He was arrested last June 21 at Brgy. Poblacion in Makati City.

Police said the victim, Xiong Lifei, narrated that she was brought to a secluded area in Tagaytay City and eventually escaped from captivity last June 20.

She was seen by a couple passing by a road and was tagged along with them in Pasig City. The couple brought the victim to the PNP’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group last June 22 to file a complaint.

During the investigation, the victim said her cousin named Xie Pei Wu was also kidnapped last Sunday in Makati City by the same group of suspects who abducted her and still in captivity.

The suspect is now temporarily detained at the AKG headquarters for the filing of appropriate charges.
