Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, former Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson and Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. top September 2015 Pulse Asia senatorial preference survey.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — In terms of senatorial preference, it's Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III who's leading the race.

In Pulse Asia’s 2015 Ulat ng Bayan survey conducted from September 8 to 14, 63.6 percent of the respondents said they would vote Sotto for senator.

Sotto was followed by former Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 59.3 percent and Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who got 54.9 percent.

Sens. Franklin Drilon and Ralph Recto and former Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan are tied at fourth to sixth place.

They're followed by former Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, and Sen. Sergio Osmeña III.

Former Sen. Richard Gordon and Jamby Madrigal, Las Piñas Rep. Mark Villar, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, and Taguig City Rep. Lino Cayetano, also landed on the top choices for senatorial race.
