(L-R) Gigi Reyes and Janet Lim-Napoles

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The pork scam trials will continue as the Supreme Court (SC) upholds the indictment of alleged pork scam ringleader Janet Lim-Napoles, her children, and Atty. Jessica "Gigi" Reyes.

Voting unanimously on Tuesday (March 15), the magistrates junked the petitions of Napoles and Reyes to stop their trial at the Sandiganbayan and to nullify the warrants of arrest that led to their detention.

Reyes is the former aide of Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile, who is also facing plunder charges over pork barrel cases.

SC also dismissed similar petitions of Napoles' children, Jo Christine and James Christopher, and her former employee, John Raymund De Asis.

The high court ruled that the Ombudsman and Sandiganbayan, did not commit grave abuse of discretion in finding probable cause to charge and order the arrest of the respondents.
