Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 21) — Authorities seized over ₱174.7 million pesos worth of shabu and arrested two suspects in a drug sting operation in Caloocan City, police said on Saturday.

In a statement, the National Capital Region Police Office reported that 25 kilos of a crystalline white substance believed to be shabu or crystal meth were confiscated by anti-drug operatives at 7:30 a.m. in the city's Barangay 188.

The drug haul found in plastic and Chinese tea bags has an estimated value of ₱174,760,000.

Officials said they also rescued a minor during the operation.

The suspects, identified as Kalif Latif and Akisah Latif, are in police custody and will face drug charges, police added.
