Bag of missing lawyer found on the shores of Occidental Mindoro town – police

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 27) - The bag of missing lawyer Ryan Oliva, containing his personal belongings, was found on the shores of Looc, Occidental Mindoro on Friday, said the police.

According to the police report, a resident of Natalon, Looc found the bag slightly covered with sand and garbage at around 6 a.m.

Among the items found in the bag were his wallet, identification and membership cards, keys, a cellphone, and others.

Aside from being a professor at the University of the Philippines College of Law, Oliva is also the chief of Department of Tourism’s Legislative Liaison Unit.

He has been missing since Nov. 21, according to his family.

Oliva's family is asking the public for help. His brother Randy may be contacted at 0906 300 1009 for any information on his whereabouts.
