Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 13) — Travelers coming from Manila are told to arrive hours earlier in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to allot time for health screening amid the coronavirus scare, the country's flag carrier said on Thursday.

Philippine Airlines said passengers should arrive at the airport terminal for check-in at least 4 hours before their international flight departure.

It said there is an additional and more stringent screening to check passengers for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

PAL reminded passengers landing in Manila that they are required to fill up arrival cards and undergo screening before going through the immigration counters.

It added, the Immigration eGates at the NAIA Airport for Philippine passport holders are temporarily disabled for the screening process.
