Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 22) — Some organizations, establishments, and individuals are offering shelter for homeless people and frontline workers during the enhanced community quarantine due to the spread of coronavirus disease 2019.

The enhanced community quarantine throughout Luzon will last until April 13.

De La Salle University

In partnership with the Divine Word Missionaries, this university located at Taft Avenue opens its doors to the homeless.

As of this writing, 77 individuals are staying at the Enrique Razon Sports Center.

Popburri Café

This ice cream café located in East Kamias, Quezon City is accepting people from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. everyday until April 12.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Manila LGU

On March 18, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso signed Executive Order No. 17 to help frontline workers in the city affected by the quarantine.

Health workers and other frontliners can stay at Hotel Sogo (421 rooms), Eurotel (50 rooms) at Town and Country Hotel (60 rooms).

Office of the Vice President

The office of Vice President Leni Robredo will open a dormitory for frontline workers.

The dormitory will be located at Cubao, Quezon City.

RockEd Housing Health

Volunteer group Rock Ed Philippines created a separate Facebook page, where those interested can message them if they want to offer lodging for frontliners.
