Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 26) — A total of 203 overseas Filipino workers have been infected with the coronavirus disease, the Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday.

Of these cases, 93 OFWs are undergoing treatment, while 107 patients have already recovered or been discharged. Meanwhile, three OFWs who contracted the disease—two from Europe, and one from the Asia-Pacific Region—have died.

As of March 26, 115 cases of OFWs testing positive for COVID-19 have been recorded in the Asia-Pacific Region, 43 in Europe, 23 in the Middle East, and 22 in America.

There are currently 26 countries with Filipino COVID-19 cases, according to DFA.

Globally, over 491,000 people have been infected with the virus, with more than 22,000 fatalities and some 118,000 recoveries, according to the Johns Hopkins University's COVID-19 global tracker.
